The Shiprock Chieftains softball squad (Shiprock, NM), was routed 25-17 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Taos Tigers (Taos, NM)

With the triumph, Taos improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers host Capital (Santa Fe, NM) to face the Jaguars in a non-league contest on Monday, March 24. The Jaguars enter the contest with a record of 3-1.

The Chieftains now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Northwest for a non-league contest on Monday, March 24.
