Fans at Wednesday's non-league test between the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) and the visiting Richmond Hill Wildcats (Richmond Hill, GA), witnessed May River's lacrosse squad hold off Richmond Hill by a count of 14-13.
The Sharks (5-3) will now prepare for their test against St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC). The Sharks enter the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, St. James was nipped by Mauldin (Mauldin, SC), 13-2, in a non-league test.
Next, the Wildcats battle the Lakeside Panthers (Evans, GA) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 21. Richmond Hill will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Panthers enter the test with a 7-1 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC).
