The McIntosh Chiefs triumphed over the host Newnan Cougars lacrosse team by a tally of 14-4 in Wednesday's league match.
Next up, the Chiefs confront the Dutchtown Bulldogs (Hampton, GA) in a 2A Area 5 match, on Thursday, March 20. McIntosh will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 20-0 league loss to East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA).
The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Northgate (Newnan, GA). The Vikings enter the 2A Area 5 match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, Northgate defeated East Paulding (Dallas, GA), 16-2, in a non-league match.
