Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT) and the visiting Layton Christian Academy Eagles (Layton, UT), saw Lone Peak's soccer squad hold off Layton Christian Academy by a score of 3-2.

The Knights (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lehi (Lehi, UT). The Pioneers enter the 6A Region 3 battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Lehi tipped Mountain View (Orem, UT), 4-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Hillcrest Huskies (Midvale, UT) in a 4A Region 10 battle, on Friday, March 21. Layton Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 2-2 non-league West Jordan (West Jordan, UT).
