North Carolina High School Softball - Apex bested by Willow Spring

March 19, 2025: Apex, NC 27502

The Willow Spring Storm triumphed over the host Apex Cougars softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Storm meet the Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 4A challenge, on Friday, March 21. Willow Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 11-2 league win over Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC).

The Cougars (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Patriots enter the Southwest Wake 4A challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Apex Friendship overcame Green Hope (Cary, NC), 15-3, in a league challenge.
