California High School Softball - Encinal sneaks past Berkeley

March 19, 2025: Alameda, CA 94501

The Encinal Jets softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Berkeley Yellowjackets to 4 in the Jets non-league win on Wednesday.

The Jets now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Helena for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 20. Encinal will confront a Saints team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Vintage (Napa, CA). The Saints record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Berkeley moves to 2-3 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA) to confront the Monarchs in a battle on Friday, March 21. The Monarchs come into the battle with a record of 4-2. Mt. Eden won 15-2 in their recent league battle against San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA)
