The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY) and the visiting Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY), observed Campbell County's softball team get by Mason County by a tally of 5-0.

The Camels (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY). The Bearcats go into the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Walton-Verona was routed by Conner (Hebron, KY), 10-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Royals clash with the Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) in a District 39 bout, on Friday, March 21. Mason County will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY).
