Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Okawville Rockets (Okawville, IL), 6-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Centralia upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Orphans travel to Wesclin (Trenton, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Monday, March 24. The Warriors enter the bout with a record of 1-3. Wesclin won 12-6 in their recent non-league bout against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL)

In their next game, the Rockets battle the Mater Dei Knights (Breese, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 24. Okawville will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
