The Chapel Hill Tigers edged the visiting River Mill Jaguars softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 21. Chapel Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Concord Academy (Concord, NC).
The Jaguars (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC). The Grizzlies enter the Central Tar Heel 1A challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Clover Garden School edged Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC), 10-0, in a league challenge.
