The Cleveland Storm triumphed over the visiting Valley Vikings softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Storm meet the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 20. Cleveland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Matadors enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 18-7 non-league win over Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM).
The Vikings (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Los Alamos was routed by Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 18-7, in a non-league challenge.
