Virginia High School Softball - Hanover Deep Run

The Hanover Hawks softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Deep Run Wildcats to 3 in the Hawks non-league win on Wednesday.

The Hawks now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Catherine's for a non-league battle on Friday, March 21. Hanover will confront a Saints team coming off a 13-2 league win over Saint Gertrude (Richmond, VA). The Saints record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Deep Run moves to 0-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA) to confront the Tigers in a Colonial battle on Friday, March 21. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-1. J.R. Tucker lost 12-0 in their recent league battle against Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA)
