Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad beat the visiting DePaul College Prep Rams (Chicago, IL), 16-0 in a non-league contest.
With the triumph, Metamora improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Redbirds travel to Normal West (Normal, IL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 20. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 0-1.
The Rams now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mother McAuley for a non-league contest on Monday, March 24. DePaul College Prep will face a Mighty Macs squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Mighty Macs record now stands at 1-1.
