Next, the Blackcats meet the Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 21. Goreville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Carrier Mills-Stonefort (Carrier Mills, IL).

The Pharaohs (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Galatia/Thompsonville (Galatia, IL). The Bearcats enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Galatia/Thompsonville overcame Dongola (Dongola, IL), 17-5, in a non-league challenge.
