In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Yosemite Badgers softball team scored a nice 14-3 win over the Firebaugh Eagles.

The Badgers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Caruthers (Caruthers, CA). The Blue Raiders come into the Northwest Sequoia- North match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Caruthers notched a victory over Mendota (Mendota, CA), 18-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Madera South Stallions (Madera, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 21. Firebaugh will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Stallions come into the match with a 2-6 record after their 22-3 non-league loss to Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA).
