Pennsylvania High School Softball - Turkeyfoot Valley Area defeated by Mapletown

The Turkeyfoot Valley Area Rams softball squad (Confluence, PA), was routed 11-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Mapletown Maples (Greensboro, PA)

With the triumph, Mapletown improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Maples travel to Charleroi (Charleroi, PA) to face the Cougars in a non-league contest on Friday, March 21. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 0-2. Charleroi lost 10-4 in their recent non-league contest against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA)

The Rams now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Paden City for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 22. Turkeyfoot Valley Area will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 20-0 non-league loss to Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
