The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the McMinnville Grizzlies (McMinnville, OR) and the host Southridge Skyhawks (Beaverton, OR), observed McMinnville's softball team notch a victory over Southridge by a final score of 16-6.

The Grizzlies (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against South Salem (Salem, OR). The Saxons go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record.

In their next game, the Skyhawks battle the Barlow Bruins (Gresham, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 21. Southridge will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 13-4 non-league win over Tigard (Tigard, OR).
