California High School Softball - San Lorenzo knocked off by Mt. Eden

The Mt. Eden Monarchs overwhelmed the host San Lorenzo Grizzlies softball squad by a count of 15-2 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Monarchs meet the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, March 21. Mt. Eden will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Encinal (Alameda, CA).

The Grizzlies (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA). The Red Devils go into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Diablo was routed by Piedmont (Piedmont, CA), 16-15, in a non-league challenge.
