In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Riverside Academy Rebels softball team scored a tight 6-5 win over the Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers.
The Rebels (10-3) will now prepare for their match against St. James (St. James, LA). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 4-10 record. In their last match, St. James was nipped by Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA), 22-8, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Bourgeois Braves (Gray, LA) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 21. Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Braves come into the match with a 5-8 record after their 10-1 league loss to Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA).
