Pennsylvania High School Softball - Union City topped by Saegertown

Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Union City Bears (Union City, PA), 12-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Saegertown upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Panthers host Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA) to play the Lakers in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 26. The Lakers enter the game with a record of 0-0.

The Bears now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to North East for a District 10 Region 3 game on Thursday, March 20. Union City will play a Grape Pickers squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Grape Pickers record now stands at 0-1.
