In Thursday's non-league game, the host Foreman Gator Arkansas baseball team scored a close 4-3 triumph over the Mount Ida Lions.
With the triumph, Foreman moves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Gator Arkansas travel to Murfreesboro (Murfreesboro, AR) to confront the Rattlers in a 2A Region 7 match on Friday, March 20. The Rattlers come into the match with a record of 8-0. Murfreesboro won 5-3 in their recent non-league match against Ouachita (Donaldson, AR)
The Lions now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kirby for a 1A Region 7 game on Tuesday, March 31. Mount Ida will play a Trojans team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Bismarck (Bismarck, AR). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.
