The Lake Howell Silverhawks baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Horizon Hawks to 5 in the Silverhawks non-league win on Thursday.

The Silverhawks now hold a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western for a non-league test on Friday, March 20. Lake Howell will play a Wildcats team coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Dr. Phillips (Orlando, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-6.

The Hawks (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Pembroke Pines Charter (Pembroke Pines, FL). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Pembroke Pines Charter was nipped by Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
