Louisiana High School Softball - Buckeye held off by Quitman

In Thursday's non-league test, the Quitman Wolverines (Quitman, LA) softball squad got by the host Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA), by a margin of 9-8.

The Wolverines now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jena for a non-league outing on Monday, March 23. Quitman will encounter a Giants team coming off a 18-4 non-league win over Caddo Magnet (Shreveport, LA). The Giants record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Buckeye moves to 13-9 on the season. The Panthers travel to Kaplan (Kaplan, LA) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 24. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 17-3.
