In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Loretto Angels (El Paso, TX), by a margin of 22-5.

With the triumph, Riverside moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Rangers travel to San Elizario (San Elizario, TX) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 1 contest on Friday, March 5. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 2-1. San Elizario won 27-2 in their recent league contest against Mountain View (El Paso, TX)

In their next game, the Angels play the Tornillo Coyotes (Tornillo, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 5. Loretto will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
