North Carolina High School Baseball - Draughn holds off South Caldwell

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) and the host South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC), saw Draughn's baseball squad beat South Caldwell by a margin of 12-8.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 4. Draughn will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).

The Spartans now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Caldwell for a non-league battle on Friday, March 4. South Caldwell will play a Warriors squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
