The East St. John Wildcats baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host St. James Wildcats to 9 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Chalmette (Chalmette, LA). The Owls go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Chalmette was overwhelmed by Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA), 8-6, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Bourgeois (Gray, LA). The Braves go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Bourgeois edged Houma Christian (Houma, LA), 4-0, in a non-league match.
