North Carolina High School Soccer - Holmes knocks off Bear Grass Charter

Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Bear Grass Charter Bears (Williamston, NC), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Aces confront the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 4. Holmes will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC).

The Bears now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cape Hatteras for a Atlantic Five 1A challenge on Monday, March 7.
