The Higley Knights crushed the host Independence Patriots baseball team by a count of 20-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Arcadia for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 3. Higley will face a Titans team coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Titans record now stands at 0-1.

Next, the Patriots face the Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 15. Independence will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
