In Wednesday's non-league game, the host John Paul II Catholic Saints baseball team scored a nice 15-0 victory over the Tarboro Vikings.
The Saints (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC). The Generals go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their game against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, SouthWest Edgecombe was overwhelmed by Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC), 10-6, in a non-league game.
