The Schurr Spartans softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host El Monte Lions to 4 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Schurr improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Spartans travel to Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA) to clash with the Tologs in a non-league game on Monday, March 7. The Tologs come into the game with a record of 1-0.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Nogales Nobles (La Puente, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 4. El Monte will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
