The Yorba Linda Mustangs softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Walnut Mustangs to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Yorba Linda improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Rosary Academy (Fullerton, CA) to clash with the Royals in a non-league game on Monday, March 14. The Royals come into the game with a record of 3-0.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA) in a game, on Monday, March 7. Walnut will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
