Brawley Wildcats (Brawley, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host High Tech SD Storm (San Diego, CA), 17-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Chula Vista for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. Brawley will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Valley Center (Valley Center, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, High Tech SD falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Storm host Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA) to face the Rattlers in a non-league match on Thursday, March 3. The Rattlers go into the match with a record of 1-1. Canyon Hills lost 8-7 in their recent non-league match against Coronado (Coronado, CA)
