Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Orange for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. Southern Alamance will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Harnett Central falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Hunt (Wilson, NC) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 7. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Hunt lost 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC)
