Orange Vista Coyotes (Perris, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Temescal Canyon Titans (Lake Elsinore, CA), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Coyotes now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Corona for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. Orange Vista will face a Panthers squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Vista del Lago (Moreno Valley, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Temescal Canyon falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Titans host Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA) to face the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 5-6. Moreno Valley lost 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Paloma Valley (Menifee, CA)
