In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Lone Star Rangers baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Aledo Bearcats.

The Rangers (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Bridgeland (Cypress, TX). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Bridgeland tipped Memorial (Houston, TX), 9-8, in a non-league game.

The Bearcats (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 3-5 record.
