The North Hopkins Panthers crushed the host Commerce Tigers baseball team by a count of 9-3 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Quitman for a non-league bout on Monday, March 6. North Hopkins will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Como-Pickton (Como, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
Next, the Tigers face the Ford Panthers (Quinlan, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 3. Commerce will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 25-1 non-league loss to Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX).
