Holtville Vikings (Holtville, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV), 12-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Holtville upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Lowry (Winnemucca, NV) to battle the Buckaroos in a non-league test on Friday, March 3. The Buckaroos come into the test with a record of 0-1. Lowry lost 12-6 in their recent non-league test against River Valley (Mohave Valley, AZ)

With the defeat, Spring Creek falls to 0-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Williams (Williams, AZ) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, March 2.
