The Hoover Buccaneers crushed the visiting Sandy Creek Patriots baseball team by a count of 15-9 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Buccaneers now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montverde Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. Hoover will face a Eagles team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Faith Academy (Mobile, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
