The East Grand Forks Green Wave (East Grand Forks, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Ada-Borup/Norman County West Cougars (Ada, MN), 63-62 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Green Wave (13-11) will now prepare for their test against Barnesville (Barnesville, MN). The Trojans go into the AA Section 8 test with a 15-7 record.

The Cougars now own a 16-8 record. They play next when they travel to Crookston for a non-league test on Friday, March 3. Ada-Borup/Norman County West will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 73-58 non-league loss to Bagley (Bagley, MN). The Pirates record now stands at 7-19.
