The Alcona Tigers basketball team (Lincoln, MI), was overwhelmed 72-30 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI)
The Panthers now possess a 20-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tournament Opponent for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 8.
The Tigers (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Heston Academy (St. Helen, MI). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Heston Academy trounced Au Gres-Sims (Au Gres, MI), 43-27, in a league battle.
