The Declo Hornets basketball team (Declo, ID), was overwhelmed 78-46 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Melba Mustangs (Melba, ID)
The Mustangs now possess a 22-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Maries for a non-league battle on Friday, March 3. Melba will battle a Lumberjacks team coming off a 44-41 non-league win over Ririe (Ririe, ID). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 17-5.
The Hornets (11-10) will now prepare for their battle against Ririe (Ririe, ID). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 17-5 record. In their last battle, Ririe was overwhelmed by St. Maries (St. Maries, ID), 44-41, in a non-league battle.
