Shirley Blue Devils (Shirley, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lafayette County Cougars (Stamps, AR), 60-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shirley upgrades its record to 30-5 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to County Line (Branch, AR) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 4. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 37-0. County Line won 70-55 in their recent non-league bout against Clarendon (Clarendon, AR)
