The West Salem Panthers (West Salem, WI) basketball knocked off the visiting Elk Mound Mounders (Elk Mound, WI), 44-35 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Panthers (20-2) will now prepare for their test against Somerset (Somerset, WI). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 21-5 record. In their last test, Somerset notched a victory over St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI), 57-47, in a non-league test.
The Mounders now own a 23-2 record.
