The Webster County Highlanders basketball team scored 64 points and held the host James Monroe Mavericks to 45 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Highlanders now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenbrier West for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 7. Webster County will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 61-52 non-league win over River View (Bradshaw, WV). The Cavaliers record now stands at 18-5.
