Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Santa Clara upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bruins host Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Saturday, March 4. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 0-1.
