Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA), 14-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host San Ramon Valley for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3.
With the loss, Alameda falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Albany (Albany, CA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 15. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
