Jourdanton Indians/Squaws (Jourdanton, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears (San Juan, TX), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians/Squaws now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host FEAST HomeSchool for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. Jourdanton will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo falls to 11-5 on the campaign. The Bears host Lehman (Kyle, TX) to battle the Lobos in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. The Lobos enter the challenge with a record of 6-1. Lehman won 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Burbank (San Antonio, TX)
