California High School Softball - Yuba City bounces McClatchy

The Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA) softball routed the host McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA), 16-4 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Honkers (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Las Plumas (Oroville, CA). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.

The Lions now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Folsom for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 7. McClatchy will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
