The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Wylie East Raiders (Wylie, TX) and the visiting Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX), saw Wylie East's softball squad nip Mt. Pleasant by a count of 3-1.
The Raiders now sport a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lone Star for a non-league match on Friday, March 3. Wylie East will face a Rangers squad coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Wylie (Wylie, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 14-2.
With the loss, Mt. Pleasant falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Sachse (Sachse, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, March 3. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 6-6. Sachse lost 7-1 in their recent non-league match against Rockwall (Rockwall, TX)
