In Saturday's non-league game, the host Bismarck Lions baseball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the St. Joseph Bulldogs.
The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Magnet Cove was overwhelmed by Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR), 8-7, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Guy-Perkins (Guy, AR). The Thunderbirds go into the 1A Region 4 game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Guy-Perkins was overwhelmed by Atkins (Atkins, AR), 14-4, in a non-league game.
