The Brusly Panthers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Ruston Bearcats to 2 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers (8-1) will now prepare for their match against St. John (Plaquemine, LA). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, St. John gained a win over Westlake (Westlake, LA), 4-3, in a non-league match.
The Bearcats (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA). The Gators go into the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Captain Shreve was overwhelmed by Central (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-0, in a non-league match.
